Role: Art Director
Challenges: The challenges in creating game assets and building screens for such an arcane game console were innumerable and resulted in the development of specialized software (see NESmaker). Crushingly limited space for graphics and storytelling made this an especially challenging game design experience. 
Results: The support for the game has been very positive, selling over 400 boxed copies at a much higher price point for a physical game than usual in the era of digital downloads. Player feedback has been glowing.
