Role: Writer / Artist
Challenges: to synthesize and reckon with all the things I thought were cool about cartoons and action movies in the summer of 1986, and everything I've learned about the world and artmaking since. Should be a wild ride.
Results: I’m really enjoying working in the style, applying the color, and rediscovering these characters in their purest form after so long. It feels natural and right to be drawing them, and I feel like I have an interesting new angle on the story with the perspective of age and experience.
